At Timberline Firearms & Training, we promote safe and responsible gun use and ownership. In order to do so, we offer several courses for beginners, firearm enthusiasts, and everyone in between. Classes OFFERED
Take your VERY FIRST SHOTS at Timberline Firearms & Training in Flagstaff, Arizona. The biggest challenge for new shooters is getting started. This National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) “First Shots” class makes getting started in shooting very easy.
This is a 4 hour class that will get you started on the right track in your firearm education by introducing students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.
This is a 7.5 hour class that will give you the necessary foundation for concealment! Upon successful completion, you will be issued a certificate, the application, and fingerprint cards to apply for an Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit.
This is a 4 hour class that will teach you how to quickly and safely draw your firearm from a holster and keep it functioning properly.
This is a 5 hour class that focuses on shooting with movement and communication! There will be shooting while moving, working with barricades, engaging multiple targets, and practicing reloads.
This is a 2 hour class that will increase your firearm skills working in the dark, using your flashlight, and practicing room-clearing.
This is a 4 hour class that will get you started on the right track in your education on modern sporting rifles, such as the AR-15!
This is a 2 hour class that focuses on zeroing your rifle, learning ballistic calculation, and more!
This is a 4 hour class that will teach you how to quickly, proficiently and safely operate your rifle with a sling attached and keep it functioning in defensive situations!
This course is specifically tailored to individuals who are “on the fence” when it comes to the 2nd Amendment and want to see new laws on the books regarding firearms. It begins with a basic overview of the types of firearms, laws relating to firearms purchases and firearms related crime statistics.
This is our free, classroom-only course that covers how to address massive bleeding from any cause, but particularly from an active shooter or explosive event where organized response is delayed can result in death.
This is a 1-on-1 training option with a range instructor to work on shooting fundamentals and firearm safety.
This is a 1-on-1 training option with our MILO Range Simulation system and a range instructor.
TRAINING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- No refunds offered. To reschedule, call at least 7 days prior to date of course.
- Minimum enrollment age is 18 years old or 10 years old with a parent/guardian.
- Must be 18 years old to rent a rifle and 21 years old to rent a handgun.
- A reminder email will be sent prior to course date with further information.
- All training courses are available as private group classes as well.
